Computer Science gives you a good grounding in the wide range of knowledge and skills necessary to understand the operation and programming of programmable systems. It is also a good foundation for A levels in computer science, as well as courses in further education and university.

How quickly can I complete the Computer Science Course?

You can complete your IGCSE as quickly or slowly within the 12 months as you choose. The recommended study time for the content is 120 hours. The exam dates are set by the exam boards and for GCSE and IGCSE. Computer Science are available in May/June each year.

Are there any entry requirements for this course?

No previous experience of computer programming is required and the course is suitable for all students pursuing career in computing.To succeed in this course, pupils should be interested in the subject. They will also have to meet deadlines.
